Network Engineer

Job Title: Aruba Network Engineer
Location: Metro Manila

Job Summary:

The Aruba Network Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization’s network infrastructure, with a focus on Aruba networking solutions. The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient network connectivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, manage, and maintain Aruba switches, wireless access points, and other network devices.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot network and wireless connectivity issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Manage network configurations, including VLANs, routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networks.
  • Administer and support Aruba Central and other Aruba network management platforms.
  • Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, and preventive maintenance.
  • Implement and maintain network security and access controls.
  • Monitor network incidents and perform root-cause analysis when required.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and technical records.
  • Assist in network implementation, expansion, and improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and service providers for network-related concerns.
  • Ensure network infrastructure follows company standards, security policies, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support for network-related incidents and escalations.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in network engineering, network administration, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Aruba networking solutions is required.
  • Knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
  • Experience with Aruba switches, access points, and Aruba Central.
  • Basic knowledge of network security and wireless networking.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical teams.
