Job Summary:

The Palo Alto Network Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining Palo Alto security solutions to protect the organization’s network infrastructure. The role involves firewall deployment, system maintenance, troubleshooting security issues, and providing technical support to ensure a secure and reliable network environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security solutions.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance activities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network security and firewall-related issues.
• Respond to security incidents and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Design and implement secure network solutions based on business requirements.
• Create and maintain network and security documentation.
• Work with internal teams and clients to support security projects and system improvements.
• Ensure security policies and configurations follow industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security, firewall implementation, or enterprise network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security solutions.
• Knowledge of WAN/LAN networking, routing, switching, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with other security technologies such as Cisco or Fortinet is an advantage.
• PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer) certification is an advantage.
• CCNP or other network/security certifications are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
