Job Title: SolarWinds Engineer
Location: Metro Manila

Job Summary:

The SolarWinds Engineer is responsible for administering, monitoring, and maintaining the SolarWinds platform to ensure the availability and performance of the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting monitoring issues, responding to system alerts, and supporting the overall health of network and server environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the SolarWinds monitoring platform.
  • Monitor the performance and availability of network, server, and infrastructure systems.
  • Perform daily system health checks and onboard new devices into the monitoring environment.
  • Investigate and resolve monitoring alerts and technical issues.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Configure and maintain dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring thresholds.
  • Work with infrastructure and operations teams to improve system performance and monitoring coverage.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and issue resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, Network Operations Center (NOC), or systems monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with SolarWinds administration and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, routing, and Windows/Linux environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • SolarWinds certification is an advantage but not required.
